Administrative law is a branch of public law, as it is the body of rules, regulations, orders and decisions created by administrative agencies of government. It is also the fundamental facet of the growing socio-economic functions of the State and the increased powers of the government. This determines the organization, powers and duties of administrative authorities. Administrative law consists of constitutional law, statutory law, common law and agency-made law.
